Colorado Mountain School teaches ice, rock, and mountain climbing skills and provides excursions to put those skills to use. Based in Boulder, Colorado and Estes, Colorado, CMS has been providing technical climbing instruction in Rocky Mountain National Park, under different names, since the park was created in 1915. While their courses are primarily given in Rocky Mountain National Park, they also provide instruction trips to destinations such as Denali in the Alaska Range and volcanoes in Ecuador. Every level of instruction is provided from beginner to expert.
