Description:

Located in west central Georgia just north of Columbus with one shore in Georgia and the other in Alabama, Lake Harding is one of 15 Georgia Power-owned lakes in the state. The 5,850-acre lake has 156 miles of shoreline. In the Chattahoochee River watershed, it is formed by the Chattahoochee and Bartlett’s Ferry Dam. Harding is part of a 4-lake chain of Georgia Power lakes on this part of the Chattahoochee including, from north to south, Lake Harding, Goat Rock Lake, Lake Oliver and North Highlands.
