Description:
Located in the scenic mountains of northeast Georgia, Lake Rabun is one of 15 Georgia Power-owned lakes in the state. The 834-acre lake has 25 miles of shoreline. In the Savannah River watershed, it is formed by the Tallulah River and Mathis Dam. Rabun is one of a 6-lake chain of small lakes on the Tallulah including, from to south, Burton, Seed, Rabun, Tallulah Falls, Tugalo and Yonah.
