Description:

Located in the scenic mountains of northeast Georgia, Lake Seed is one of 15 Georgia Power-owned lakes in the state. The 240-acre lake has 13 miles of shoreline. In the Savannah River Watershed, it is formed by the Tallulah River and Nacoochee Dam. Seed is part of a 6-lake chain of small lakes on this part of the Tallulah including, from north to south, Burton, Seed, Rabun, Tallulah Falls Tugalo and Yonah.
