Description:

Located in northeast Georgia in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Lake Sidney Lanier is one of 10 US Army Corps of Engineer-owned lakes in the state. The lake has over 690 miles of shoreline and over 100 small islands. In the Chattahoochee River watershed, it is formed by the Chattahoochee and Buford Dam.
