Providing recreational opportunities for central and east central Georgia along with its sister lake, Oconee, just to he north, Lake Sinclair is one of 15 Georgia Power-owned lakes in the state. The 15,330-acre lake has 417 miles of shoreline. In the Oconee River watershed, it is formed by the Oconee and Sinclair Dam.
