Located in the scenic mountains of northeast Georgia Tugalo is one of 15 Georgia Power-owned lakes in the state. The 597-acre lake has 18 miles of shoreline. In the Savannah River watershed, it is formed by the Tallulah and Chatooga rivers and Tugalo Dam. Tugalo is part of a 6-lake chain of small lakes on the Tallulah River including, from north to south, Burton, Seed, Rabun, Tallulah Falls, Tugalo and Yohah.
