Description:

Eufaula is one of three names given to this “Lake with Three Names” in southwest Georgia with one shore in Georgia and the other in Alabama. (Other names the lake is recognized by are Lake George and Lake Chattahoochee.) The 45,181-acre lake has 640 miles of shoreline. In the Chattahoochee River watershed, it is formed by the Chattahoochee and Walter F. George Lock and Dam.
