Allatoona - Allatoona Lake

Description:

Located in northwest Georgia 30 miles north of Atlanta, Lake Allatoona is one of 10 US Army Corps of Engineer-owned lakes in the state. The 12,010-acre lake has 270 miles of shoreline. In the Coosa River watershed, it is formed by the Etowah River and Allatoona Dam.
