Alpine Helen, White County Restaurants

Saturday, March 6th, 2010
By BROWN’S GUIDES RESTAURANT EDITOR

I’m looking for Brown’s Guides readers’ favorite restaurants in and around Alpine Helen (photo at right), including all helen2.jpgof White County, which takes in Cleveland and Sautee Nacoochee.

Have a look at the White County restaurants included on the site so far and let me know if your favorites are missing from the list. The restaurants you’ll find currently profiled are all independently owned, one-of-a-kinds, but if you frequent a chain that you think does particularly good job, I’d like to hear about that too.

I’ll see that your recommendations are included in the Helen - White County restaurants on the BG site and credit you with the suggestion.

  • I love the romantic feel of this place ~ we sat in a private candle-lit area; we were able to talk while listening to the saxophonist. The lobster was excellent, the potatoes were refreshingly tasty. The NY Strip had an awesome flavor and was tender enough to cut with a fork. An OpenTable contributor 9/2009
  • Good food. Good people. I have been several times with different friends and have always had a wonderful experience and so have my friends. It’s nice to see the owner come around and check on his guests, which Scott has done several times on each occasion. The steaks are awesome and so is the crab dip. Higher priced food, but not overpriced. The live entertainment is always great as well. It’s a good fit with the atmosphere of the restaurant. Guest42781 on SuperPages 1/2009
