Your list of St. Simons Island restaurants really ought to include Blackwater Grill, which is far and away my favorite island restaurant. It has the best fried shrimp and shrimp and grits, good fresh fish, spicy crawfish etouffe, and excellent steaks and pork chops. The Brunswick stew is also one of the best in the area. Another place I like is not technically on the island but right at the mainland-side end of the causeway in Brunswick, the Oyster Shak. Po boys, fresh oysters and oyster stew are all excellent.
