In October 1993 Love’s Seafood was selected by Paramount Pictures for one of the many filming locations of the Academy Award-winning movie, “Forest Gump,” starring Tom Hanks.

- This place is amazing. I don’t remember ever having to wait for a table. It’s right on the Ogeechee River, and the view from the dining room is phenomenal. You can see the site where parts of Forrest Gump was filmed. - We ordered by 5:15 and waited, and waited, and waited. We inquired about the delay and were told the entire dining room was behind on orders, but ours would come out soon..??.
