Ride along Badger Creek or to alpine lakes. An experienced guide accompanies each ride. Horseback riding Wyoming and horseback riding Yellowstone begin Memorial Day weekend and extend through mid-October depending on the weather.

Pack Trips in Wyoming, Idaho, and Yellowstone

Horseback riding Wyoming through Jedediah Smith Wilderness. Ride up Dry Ridge toward the Crow’s Nest. See forests of lodgepole pines and aspen groves. Catch grand views of the Teton Range. Fish or swim Badger Creek. Day ride to Rammell Mountain or Dead Horse Pass.

Yellowstone 3-day Pack Trip

Adventure and camp in the Bechler Region of Yellowstone National Park. Ride to Colonade Falls or Three Rivers Hot Pots.

Backcountry Horse Packing Trip of 5 days

Ride through the Bechler region of Yellowstone National Park. Camp on Boundary Creek. Ride to Dunanda Falls toward Buffalo Lake. Soak in the hot pools at the base of Dunanda Falls. Camp in the Three Rivers Hot Spring area. Ride to Three Rivers’ Hot Pot or to the Pitchstone Plateau.

Granite Basin 3-Day Pack Trip

Ride from North Leigh trailhead along Tin Cup Creek. Take in fine views of the Teton Mountain Range. Photograph wildflower meadows, fish in mountain lakes, or hike to the top of Little’s Peak (10,712 ft))

Hidden Corral 3-day Pack Trip

Leave from Coyote Meadows trailhead. Ride along the south fork of Bitch Creek. Camp at the edge of Hidden Corral mountain meadow. Swim in the cold swimming holes. Fish in meadow streams. Day trip to Dead Horse Pass or Camp Lake.

Survey Peak 3-Day Pack Trip

Begin the ride at the north end of the Teton Range. Ride along South Boone Creek. Spend two nights in a secluded spot below Survey Peak. Day ride to Berry Creek in Teton National Park or the saddle below Forellen Peak.

Badger Canyon and Granite Basin 5-Day Pack Trip

Stay 2 nights in the Badger Canyon campsite and then move on to Granite Basin. Day trip to Rammell Mountain. Take in a 360-degree view of the Tetons, Teton Valley, Idaho, and Jackson Hole Wyoming from the watershed divide.

Hidden Corral to Granite Basin 7-Day Pack Trip

Stay two nights each in three different campsites: Survey Peak, Hidden Corral, and Granite Basin. Day trip to Berry Creek in Teton National Park, Forellen Peak, Camp Lake and the Watershed divide.

Stay at Moose Creek Ranch and Take Day Trips

For horseback riding lovers who prefer to make their base camp in a comfortable cabin, Dry Ridge Outfitters has created a riding and lodging package with Moose Creek Ranch located in proximity to Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone National Park, Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and Teton Valley Idaho. Ride horseback during the day ride to a different destination in the Grand Teton Mountains or the Big Hole Mountains and return every evening to a Moose Creek Ranch cabin with a fully stocked kitchenette.
