Launch from Kennebunkport to watch whales on the Maine coast

Located in the quaint coastal town of Kennebunkport—about 30 miles south of Portland—First Chance Whale Watch spearheads extended whale watching tours and charters in the Atlantic Ocean. Each outing lasts an average of four and a half hours, as the captain guides the 87-foot vessel out into the summer feeding grounds of humpbacks, finbacks, Minkes and rare blue whales. The boat has two decks with lots of railing to maximize the photo opportunities for all guests. An onboard galley is stocked with light snacks, breakfast fare, and lunch items.
