Raft Glacier National Park

Take an overnight or extended raft trip on the North Fork or Middle Fork of the Flathead River on the border of Glacier National Park. Float an average of 15 miles a day through dramatic Montana scenery. Instead of standard rafts, choose to run the river in a smaller raft or in an inflatable kayak. The outfitter provides wetsuits and river shoes. Combine a raft Glacier National Park trip with horseback riding and hiking.

Hiking Trails in Glacier National Park

Hike some of the 700 miles of trails in Glacier National Park. Take day hikes or multi-day hikes. Create a custom hike suited to your own interest and experience. Hike hut-to-hut or hike on vehicle-supported excursions. Combine hiking with a raft Glacier National Park day trip or an overnight rafting trip. Regularly scheduled day hikes include Introduction to Glacier, the Highline Trail, Virginia Falls, Piegan Pass, Iceberg Lake, Scenic Point, and Firebrand Pass.

Backpacking 700 Miles of Glacier Hiking Trails

Backpack on multi-day trips in Glacier National Park. Experienced guides prepare homemade backpacking meals. Trips are ecologically friendly. The outfitter provides quality backpacking gear. Trips are geared to participants interests and experience level. On some trips, porters are available to lighten the hiker’s load. Backpacking trips can be combined with other experiences that the outfitter provides including inn trips, safari trips, and raft trips. Glacier has over 700 miles of hiking and backpacking trails.

Hiking to Granite Park or Sperry Chalet

Hike 3 days to Granite Park or Sperry Chalet in the high alpine regions of Glacier National Park, or hike to them both on a six-day trip. These backcountry chalets are only accessible by trail.

Horseback Riding to a Glacier Park Chalet

Travel by horseback to Sperry Chalet in the high mountainous areas of Glacier National Park and hike one of the park’s last remaining glaciers on a 3-day hut trip.

Fly Fishing on Flathead River

Fly fish the Middle Fork and North Fork of Montana’s Flathead River from drift boats, dories or rafts. Fish for native cutthroat, rainbow and brook trout. The outfitter can furnish all fly fishing gear if you don’t have your own. Half-day, full day, and the Smith River five-day trip are available. Custom overnight fly fishing trips can be designed to suit your interests and experience level. All camping gear and food is provided. All fishermen are expected to follow a catch and release ethic.
